Immediately place phyllo dough in the freezer upon pick up or arrival.

Each packet contains 5 sheets. Only thaw the needed amounts and avoid re-freezing.

Phyllo can remain in the freezer for up to 1-2 months.

Handling the Phyllo

Step 1

Thawing

Each packet contains 5 sheets. Only thaw needed amounts and do not refreeze. Refreezing compromises the quality of the dough.

Let thaw at room temperature for 30-60 minutes.

Step 2

Peeling

Due to the absence of gluten, gluten-free phyllo is sensitive to stretch. Please be caredul during this step to ensure a clean peel.

When separating each sheet from the packaging. Please slowly peel off the sheet from the wax paper (vs. removing the dough from the wax paper).

Step 3

Use in your favorite recipe!

Our phyllo can be used in both baked or fried dishes!

Of making your family baklava recipe, we recommend a total of 20-25 sheets.

When baking items such as spanakopita, add 1-2 additional layers than usual to ensure crunch.

With fried dishes, such as samosas, you can expect the strongest crunch.
